Unique gifts with a New England flair

Key to an Effective
Web Site

Create an Image Consistent with Your Business

Just like your business card and other design elements, it is important for your web site to accurately reflect you and your business.

If you operate a flower shop and prominently feature bright vibrant flowers in your store, use the same bright vibrant colors on your web site.

If you are going for a traditional stable look, don't use the latest trendy fonts and color schemes.

Use a layout, imagery, fonts, and colors that are consistent with the image you portray in other aspects of your business.

Business Solutions - Web Site Design

Need to reach new customers on-line? It may be time for your first web site - or to take your current design to a new level of professionalism and brand identity.

My web site design experience ranges from working with retail businesses, professional services, and non-profit agencies as well as evolving this site through a few redesigns.

I'll look over any current business cards, flyers, web site, and logo you are currently using and talk with you about who you are, what business you're in, what makes you stand out over your competitors, and what message you hope to send. From there, I'll create a custom look just for your small business.

The best showcase of my web site design skills is the YankeeExpressions.com web site your are viewing now. The focus of this site is graphic design services that reflect nature and traditional New England themes brought into the 21st century. I attempted to instill this image by careful selection of fonts and colors.

Below is one more example of my designs. Other reference sites are available upon request.

Sample Web SiteClinical Therapist

My wife wanted to foster a sense of nurturing and growth in the web site for her clinical therapy practice. That led to the tree theme reflected in the tree in the masthead, subtle leaves in the background (look hard to see these at this scale), and the predominantly green color scheme.
